What is identity verification?
Identity verification is the process of confirming that a person is who they say they are - and that they have a legitimate, documented ownership role in the business.
It’s a core part of Know Your Supplier (KYS), Know Your Business (KYB), and compliance with global anti-fraud, UBO disclosure, and ESG frameworks.
Why it matters
UBO transparency is now required by law in many jurisdictions (e.g. Corporate Transparency Act in the U.S.)
